Yes, I know valentine's day is coming soon, no don't ask my plans for the day

 It's just mean you know.

The valentine's day decorations have been around in the stores since late December, every since they took of xmas decorations around the 23rd of the month. And now the Dollar Tree is fully decked and prepared for St. Patrick's day -- has been for two weeks now -- despite Valentine's day still being some time away.

My roommates don't have extraordinary plans, they're hanging out with each other as always, possibly eating out at a sushi restaurant or something. As with other friends, we're old and grumpy enough to not plan anything exciting or interesting as we know it's a festival designed to increase our consumerist behavior, just consume mindlessly without so much as a thought or consideration to what or why we're doing things.

So no, I have no plans.

I asked SS if I should send her something, they said as long as other people were getting the goods as well. J (of the faraway) who I had the most exciting hangout with during the last valentine's day says she's running out of Bed and Bath Works cream and wouldn't mind a few more of the good stuff we got last year, but I can't ship them to her house because parents, and she's too embarrassed to receive it at work. Also she's single but only kinda', single enough to accept gifts but not enough to commit to anything for anytime in the future which is perfect. Everybody else I care for has gotten their calendars packed.

Depending on how things work out later this week, I'll likely be hanging out in Philly during this vday, chilling with mah boys and one of their cousins, young cute and hopefully single with nobody planning things with them for the day, which is the perfect time to tease them about it and who knows maybe I can creep myself into a date, we'll see.

We'll defo be watching movies or some sort of comedy. Momos or other foods requiring labor of multiple people will be involved, it could even be a minor party of sorts, with only people in the small bubble invited.

Actually, this sounds like my kinda' vday celebrations, what a perfect day it'll be.

If nothing else when I don't go to Philly, I'll take out from a good restaurant nearby and eat a nice lunch or dinner with roommates. Ain't nothing wrong with that. That's what I"m all about.
