Packing up for the new town

I wanted to write this two weeks ago, but you know how that worked out, so here we are.

I'm ready for Seattle pretty much. J and A came to help me packup. I ordered this large canvas bag from Amazon, sort of like the one I got from Ghana years ago and has been my trusty friend since, but the new ones look nothing like my old one. It's much smaller, and looks as if it's going to give any moment at the slightest application of pressure. As long as this crappy bag makes it out of the carousel at pickup in Seattle, I'll be happy with it.

Besides that, I've got two checked baggage, one large rucksack filled to the brim with knicknacks, and a laptop bag. Thanks to generous Alaska airlines policies, I'll be able to take everything for not that much money. Compared to Spirit, this is basically a steal.

The dehydrator I wanted to give to BD and PD but they have the dehydrating setting on their stupid air dryer apparently. I did give them all my brewing supplies, and it appears that they might turn their second room into an experimentation room. Giving my painting away to SK, and a bunch of small things I don't need to J&A. My bed, closet, and other large furniture will remain, the boys will treat it as  guest room until the next tenant, which is going to be I, arrives sometime late in the summer.

Up, up and up!
