Outdoors gym: what they've been doing in Somerville

It would be a terrible idea for the winter but it's not winter yet is it and everyone says since Fauci says we're going to have a vaccine by Jan it's probably true so there you go problem solved no one will care for it after January everywhere but it's not January yet people still need to live and eat and workout and no matter what Fauci says there's no reasonable vaccine yet don't bring up the russian vaccine because literally their doctors don't believe it themselves...they won't say that of course, they don't want to fall out of the window hehhehheh sorry it's a sick joke but the state of the world is gross right now what can one do, the point being what's the point again right. It's such a great idea no, outdoors gym?

It's not like it's not done elsewhere, I've seen in Nepal and India folks working out in the open like those 'pahalwans' and people into 'kushti' because indoors is hot and humid air conditioning is too expensive electricity supply is unreliable besides who wants to be cooped up in the smelly sticky indoors when you can be out in the breezy open air have people ogle at you and just suck of the fresh air, your body is going to thank you for it.

Saw it in Somerville, wouldn't be surprised if it really caught on, wonder why no one had ever thought of it before. There's way wayyy too many parking spots in the US, and if they took away half the parking lots and turned them into 'gymming spots', figured out the equipment arrangement and cleaning which honestly nobody even cares about since it's now pretty clear the hand-to-mouth transmission is pretty rare compared to droplet-based and aerosolized transmission. But rules are rules and even if they stuck to the code it'd still be manageable. Yeah it'd suck a little bit to not be in the airconditioning but this is fall in the Northeast you can't really complain about things being too hot in August September anymore can you.

I'm so very INTO this idea, what an amazing concept, hope everyone did this.
