Morning was well, work was hectic, and empty at the same time. Had lots of nuts in the morning to satiate the fires of early-morning hunger. Need to get filling high-quality and grains and oats for breakfast.
For lunch made the kodo ko roti and sauerkraut, bambooshoots, beans and beets veggie salad thingie. It's a tough sell hope I can finish it within a week because it's gonna get tiring real quick. Also had yogurt in the side, so that helped a bit.
Talked to jd about future plans, moving, where we want to be and why, how the world is changing us and adapting to an unpredictable world where making plans seems pointless really. They want to make a big move like myself and we discussed the wisdom of our plans considering there's a serious pandemic going on. Made hiking plans that will hopefully workout. I'd be down to take a day off of work to go to vermont or maine. Even two days for Maine!
After work spent three hours cleaning up the house. Broomed the floors and then mopped them. Cleaned all the appliances. Cleaned the common room, cleaned the kitchen, and the chimney which is nasty nasty as the air filter doesn't work so there's splashes of oil all about. Turns out I used the wrong solution to mop the wooden floor which made the floor quite sticky.
Got ready for the showing to a potential roommate. The actual showcase was a lot less stressful than I was imagining, but it appears this may not work out and we may need to consider alternatives. In any case, cleaning the house felt good and it's a lot less messy now.
Was so tired of all of this, had a small piece of chocolate, rested on my bed, got the gigglies so well didn't even write anything before going to bed. Got up from my bed, had all the snacks in the house, honey with crackers jam with crackers spoiled sour cream with crackers that I had to throw away later, all the bars too. Basically our house is clear of snacks and unhealthy food items, that was a social service I did for the folks, takin' one for the team as they say.
Must have slept at around 10. Got up at 3am to turn off the lights and use the restroom and went back to sleep to wake up at 6.30 in the morning.
