6.30PM Karaoke should be a crime, just sayin'

Yes, I need to widen my friend circle in the new city. Yes I need to be more proactive about hanging out with people. Yes, one needs to assimilate into large groups of existing friends and become a part of it specially when there's muchos muchos single women hanging around. And yup totally agreed that fridays are the best time to hang out with people. It is also true that Karoke is a great opportunity to make friends, hang out and chill. And finally, friday night hangs with dinner and drinks before a party are always awesome.

However, in the early post-pandemic era (dear god, please let me not have to write about the fuckin' delta variant because the numbers seem to be only increasing everywhere) when everybody literally every fuckin' person is out and about so desperate to go to bars restaurants and other social hangings, when you need to reserve a karaoke place but all the times are gone, maybe do something at your place, you know. Like yeah it makes sense you got the reservation for 6.30 in the evening, but didja ever think it's not a great idea because the author of this blog got lazy and didn't write or shower or do his other planned chores and can't make it, and it sucks for him? Also just a 2-hr timeslot people, come ON, we gotta improve on this, we're better than this, anybody is better than this.

I guess you have fewer options at times like these etc.
