Some ideas on how to improve fun and physical endurance for me

Apparently the sleeping pills are not that much better in terms of focus and motivation than week, they're just as bad in sapping away your energy and drive. Which is why I'm abandoning those starting today and doing just the melatonin tablets, twice the dosage now, for until things are back on track. No telling when that's bound to be, one can hope that's close by.

In other news, I've been experimenting like crazy with all sorts of squashes and dishes involving couscous, I figured it was a new type of grain and eagerly tried it. Realized only this evening, a couple of hours ago in fact that pearled couscous is just wheat in a rather processed form and not another grain as I originally imagined. Which means the 'diversity' of nutrition and types of starches and grains I am eating is not as great as I hoped and imagined it would be. Back to exploring more mountain type of diet it is for me then.

In a somewhat related note, since chickpeas and couscous go together as they're both from the middle east, I've been playing around with chickpeas and various related products such as hummus, tahini, and hummus made out of non-chickpea products. This afternoon I made what is possibly the best black-bean based dip I've ever done, with a massive serving of butternut squash. You can roast it and eat it like that, you can puree it, or you can mix it with beans to make hummus. What can you NOT do with the magic gourd really, I wonder!

Speaking of wondering and healthy eating and all of that, there's something I need to admit about my walks. They've been more of an 'evening walk' that people do in Nepal than 'morning walk'. There's a difference, since morning walks are power walks, they're supposed to make you tired and sweaty and increase your heart rate, whereas evening walks are just brisks walks done almost for entertainment purposes, and they are not meant to elevate your heart rate or burn calories. So you wouldn't get the full benefits of 'aerobic exercise' if you just did the evening walks. Which is what I've been doing. Thinking I may not be able to count them as 'workouts' anymore.

On one hand that is a bummer, on the other it's a push for me to either take doing workouts more seriously and actually do them, or turn the leisurely walks into serious workouts, just by taking my pace to the max, and changing the posture as I walk, to communicate my intentions with the others better. I want to tell friends and family, hey sure you may be the one actually doing it, but the tour was inspired by and created by me, because I know exactly what's happening in your body right now, and what you need, and what you need is a whole lotta blood pumping, more and more air, and planning ahead on what your body will do next. That is all one needs to be an athelete. Low standards? Possibly, because there's no other serious teams and sports that would surive without being seriously handicapped. Which is not by design a bad thing, it just turned out that all the mean and evil people happen to come from one reasno or party, and that is the trend the data seems to be suggesting, not the other way round. Since you have clearly understood the benefits of batching, it's likely you'll understand the problem with medications in local schools.
