Astronomers at the volunteer park

Oh over the weekend there were dozens and dozens of astronomers and telescopists at the volunteer park watching the aurora and bright green and red colors in the skies. I didn't go, because my walks ended earlier and  I'm not really into watching that stuff in the cold without or friend or anything and also there was a lot happening. But people were having fun, doing science outreach, and exploring their astronomy hobby, using their science instruments and introducing new people to these wonderful worlds. Felt nice that I live amongst such a community, nearby such awesome public space where all of those facilities are made available to the general public.
