Late rise, Chipotle lunch, gallon water, shuttle to Mt. Si, easy way up, hard way down, tummy troubles, family hangout and the Chieftain, yummy veggie apps [Sat 13]

We got up and ready super late, compared to what we had hoped to achieve. We had planned on getting the 7.30 bus, I think we got the 10.30? It could have been the 12.30 honestly because we got there so late people were doubtful if we'd make it on time to catch the latest bus back which was supposed to be at 6.30.

So we went to Chipotle for quick lunch, it was far too heavy and far too cheesy for me but there wasn't a lot of alternatives. Then went to QFC and bought to gallons of water because we knew this was going to be a long walk. Walked to the bus stop, didn't wait too long for it to come, paid our six bucks and off we were to our destination!

Our walk up didn't take a lot of time, 2.5 hours maybe and it wasn't unusually tiring, actually I was feeling pretty good about the whole situation. We didn't get to see the best scenery possible but we were kinda tired and done with the whole walk and so we didn't bother scrambling a tonne.

The walk down was harder because it was intense and we were intent on savings our knees and that was turning out to be a challenge because the trail was the sort where if you had walking sticks you'd do ten times better. Also I had to pee and poop real bad both at the same time and my speed was compromised because I was sweating and holding back a barrage of bodily waste coming out of all the holes.

We made it to the trailhead back somehow in one piece without any accidents, I used the crappy public toilet, we waited for like 5 mins for the bus to come at 6pm and took it way back home. Our legs really really hurt but that was something that was expected.

In the evening Sb caught up with us, we tried going to Rhine Haus but their kitchen was closed and also there were at least 10 people just on security which was super duper weird because where's the money coming from? We went to the Chieftain next door which was being run by two people exactly, the vibes was very like nepal, the food was great, I've written about it in the past. I got fried mozz sticks and fried pickles, both very good, this was the best American food we'd had since ND had come.

Went home, got high, watched tv with the cousins and blacked out, as always.
