Walking one's life away

We said it before,
And we'll say it again,
What was Sisyphus's deal,
Anyway?

Would you not,
Consider it a good day's job
Well done,
If at the end
Of every day
The boulder, of you life,
That you push daily
Reached as high as it could get?
And would you not
Be glad,
That the
Boulder-pushing job
Lives on,
For
The gods have reset it all,
And you do it, over and over again
Successfully, each day.
What a life!
Full of daily satisfactions!

So you will understand
When one proposes
To walk one's life away
For months and months at least
Day in and day out
Walking the mountains and the valleys
The deserts and the rainforests,
Each day a fresh start,
Each day a simple goal
To. Just. Keep. Walking.

Who's complaining, really?
