Workspace needs to be different

Realized when ND was here that my problem with working when other people are around is that I can't use the same space I use to socialize and sleep to also work. This is true for when I'm in Virginia: when I've got my own workspace, I'm a thousand percent more efficient and productive. And the same in Kathmandu, I'm totally unproductive and non-functioning when there's no space for myself (which there never is). So now I'm thinking of creating a separate workspace. Bought myself a tiny floor working table, will put on a nice cushion on the floor, stay away from my 'coffee table' aka socialization space and do all my writing and other work from it. That way I can nap and watch tv and eat from my regular desk and work there. It's going to be great, and 'm sure it's not just another excuse to avoid being productive!
