We went to the Cannon bar the other day. We tried to go to the bar next door, Rhine Haus but they were poorly organized and also their kitchen was closed, so we went to the bar right next to it.
It was one of the weekend evenings and it was quite empty! I'd imagined perhaps it was the bad food but no, their food was quite decent and reasonably priced too! Good choice of beer and extremely decent American food, perhaps the best American food ND got to have with us in Seattle!
And the best part of it all was the location: the backyard of the bar, with tiny huts and fires and as such, sort of like the situation you have in Nepal. I imagine the outside spots get taken up pretty quick on busy days and nights, but man what fun would it be to spend long hours in the backyard with a large group of good friends, like we did back home!
Good time was had at the Cannon Bar, highly recommend.
