My fixin seeds are here, but I'm not very excited

 Sesame flax and chia seeds are here, and I'm not as excited as I should be.

Ideally I'd be heaping them on my bowl with oats and that's the general plan, but the thing is apparently oats and sweet stuff are not too good for you. I'm only pre-diabetic, but I'm trying to get better so avoiding things that would spike my blood sugar level. So the eagerness is reduced that it would otherwise be.

What i'm a little eager for is puddings. Chia seed pudding, flax seed puddings and so on, as the seeds are known to turn liquids they interact with into gels. It should be a fun homemade dessert, specially with some sort of fruit juice or smoothie and a few hours in the fridge or the freezer, a homemade alternative to store-bought puddings or ice creams and what have you. I should look up online on making desserts based on them actually. Could be fun, specially to eat on these hot days and to serve to friends.
