Restaurant popup project might really be happening (the application process anyway)

I'm thinking the proposal for the restaurant project is probably happening because I will learn a lot, I'm told the chances of such project being approved are quite high, and all things told things have aligned in such a way that I'm probably the most well-placed person in the world to execute a project of this nature. I'm not experienced in the specifics of the industry, not at all, but then the whole point of the exercise would be to give me a practice organizing a team from scratch by bringing universities, college professors, culinary programs, city council, local media and the restaurant business together for this wonderful collaboration.

I'm thinking even if it's a rejection, even if they give not a cent, the exercise of daring to be audacious to apply for such a thing that surely no other person from where I come from has done will be an experience by itself. I'll understand how business works, how to drive collaboration, how to work with local governments, and how to bind it all up in a nice ribbon. So just finishing and submitting the proposal is a big win in my book.
