Strategy to get my money's worth on the recpass: the details

In the previous post I talked about the details of the pass thing I'm doing at UW, and how my first experience was. It was quite a scary experience truth be told because I'd never been in a similar situation before. Like, ever before. There was some resistance, uncertainty, confusion, and oh so much fear.

Now that I'm done with all of that, and much more comfortable with the whole vibe (dance classes pending, but it's okay I have nothing to fear for there's no final presentation to give). I need to figure out ways to make the most out of it.

One thing before anything else: yesterday was a specially tiring day and I ended up not going on my regular walk. Don't know if I even got as far as 6k steps, but that's fine it'll be recovered. Besides, if I'm doing lots of physical workout like this, the walks can wait. Even if not, there's going to be a way out, a new schedule, but for the moment this is my priority and the main object of focus.

Here's the idea: 150 bucks. 30 days. If I attend a class every day, I'll be paying $5 per session. Which is good amount of money for me. If I attend more than that (it's certainly possible, two courses on Sundays) it's a net win.

I will definitely go to 8 classes and get the $20 value that exists elsewhere. Ideally by the first week. Then keep repeating that for three weeks and some change. The commute is not really a big deal, and I don't have too many other commitments at the moment. Should something else arise, I'll just move things around, the important thing is to internalize new events as a part of your day, unmovable but lovable, and work everything around those.

I'm excited about what the month has to bring, and where it'll take me by the end of it. Going to dance classes with all women (belly dancing!) is going to be a little silly, a little embarrassing, but thank god it's not my career and thank god I'm not doing it publicly, right?!?
