The girl at the park

There's a girl
At the park
Oh she's a woman
Who I've known
Way before my
Regular park-walks alone,
From back in the day
When I had a stay
In the town of Bean.
And I smile at her
She smiles back at me
But never have I told her
Hey, you know me and I know you
We went to the same school, miss Daahr-see.

One day I will
Mouth the words
Hi, what's her name
TO which
She will respond
With confusion and a bit of fear
And I will tell
The tale of knowing her
After all the years
It won't be
Very impressive
But at least there's
A story to be told.
Oh and today
I saw her again!
